She was dressed as usual; ripped jeans, flannel, a t-shirt with a quote and Dr. Martins. Her auburn hair was tied in a bun. “Were you spying on me?” She asked frowning. "I uh, no I, uh don't re-" I stuttered at his comparison. “Maybe you should invest in a dictionary to expand your vocabulary.” Ariel said. "Anyway, if you were spying, I don't mind. Curiosity is the mark of a good philosopher." He smiled at me as he said it and it was surprisingly nice. I had forgotten how long it had been since someone at this school hadn't done right by me. Hell, most people in this school didn't even acknowledge my existence. “So my name is Ariel. What is it?"
