Technology. Technology can be a very general topic, however, without technology a significant amount of things that exist today would not have existed without the help of technology. In technology education I learned many things. Some of these things include learning how to use a drill press, a band saw, a chuck sander, a belt sander, a rotary sander, how to paint properly, the importance of aerodynamics and strength, and most importantly, the code of conduct and safety rules. All the things I've learned this year in teaching technology have helped me realize how much fun it is to learn about machinery and the science behind all the cool objects that have been built using the skills I've learned in this course. The first thing I learned was how to use the drill press correctly. This included inserting the drill bit, locking it in place, setting the depth gauge, turning on the yellow power box, performing a wobble test, drilling the holes, and then cleaning all materials.
