It's messed up! There was a problem within this society that affected many children, even adults. This problem can simply ruin your reason for living. Bullying is what has affected millions and millions of lives. Bullying is a serious topic to talk about, the reason is because some people can't live a normal life. Some people feel that bullying is acceptable and no big deal. On the other hand, people who are bullied see it as a reason not to live or to simply give up. This is the physical or verbal contact that the bully gives them. Therefore there should be a punishment or law against bullying. No one should be afraid or shy around someone who thinks they are more dominant. School districts should make the student feel comfortable and not interfere with students' rights (Edmondson and Zeaman 33). Any law should protect students' rights (Edmondson and Zeaman 33). By including students in a conflict, adults tend to have more respect towards them. By saying that students should feel that school is their second home, schools should treat it with more respect. Edmondson and Zeaman's Centers for Disease and Prevention and Olweus explain how laws should make a difference when it comes to bullying (4). Others say the laws show no change and are useless (Edmondson and Zeaman 4). People argue that you need to stand up and make a difference in someone who is a victim of the bully's life. On the other hand, they say that nothing changes because in the end everything remains the same. Overall, what everyone advocates is for students to feel comfortable and not be afraid of those who feel more dominant. Equality should be among everyone in...... middle of paper ...... interested in completing the research that bullies tend to bully others just to appear cool, to feel better about themselves or simply to feel dominant towards another.
