Research Project Findings EssayIntroductionEver since some of the first violent video games were released, they have been said to cause violent behavior in the people who play them. I became interested in why this happens, because I personally play a lot of games and in Australia almost all violent games are censored. This differs in other countries, where more violent graphics and scenes are permitted. I wanted to know if this censorship is necessary in Australia and if violent games actually cause violent behavior in people. The question on which my research project was based is "Does violence in video games affect children's behavior?". The main key findings collected through the research include: - A list of positive and negative aspects of video games on children's health - Statistics that state that it would be impossible for violent games to cause violence - The main causes that lead children to show signs of violent behavior- The whole topic of violent video games is surrounded by many prejudicial thoughtsPositive and negative Research has found that video games have many positive and negative aspects few negative effects on children's health. This did not really suggest that the games had negative metal effects on children, but it was stated that there were negative physical effects on children. Most sources suggest that games have many positive effects on children's health.
