There are many problems in Philadelphia, such as the amount of shots or the way our sports fans behave. This is not the issue at hand; the problem is homelessness around Philadelphia. The main parts of the city that are home to these individuals are very urban areas, meaning basically the entire city. Being homeless is not just a problem for the homeless human being; it puts a strain on the people who see it every day. Dating a homeless person can put a lot of things through your mind, if you're interested. You may be thinking, “Wow, I'm glad I don't have to live that way,” or maybe you're thinking, “He must be pretending,” or maybe you're just not giving them your attention. Living in Philadelphia almost my entire life I have seen a fair amount of homeless people, they carry this depressing aura when they are out and about. All I can think of is “Maybe they were someone.” When you think of “homeless,” the first thing that comes to mind is usually dirty. I can assume that if these individuals had a place to take care of themselves, they would not be living this way. If you take a walk around Philadelphia, there will be some areas that make you feel unsafe. With the help of homeless people walking around, the situation gets worse in the eyes of an outsider. Homelessness can make Philadelphia seem unkempt and disgusting to visitors from other areas; this may be a different atmosphere than they usually live in. When you bring someone to Philadelphia, they suddenly get scared. They think that everything that happens around them will harm them. So this isn't the best reputation for a city called the "City of Brotherly Love." Here are some facts about homelessness in Philadelphia. Many of them become homeless because of... paper... they turn the homeless into workers who can go home and sleep. You might think that the city might be able to do all of these things on its own, which it most likely can, but it's easier with the support of these individuals' colleagues. The city can implement an assistance program, so the city itself will be better respected overall. The city can try to do whatever is necessary, but it cannot do it alone. The nickname they gave our city many years ago is still with us today, now is the time to actually prove that we can still hold the title of “The City of Brotherly Love.” We need to get all the homeless out of Philadelphia and make sure they're doing something with their lives, whether it's working at McDonald's or going back to college, they need help getting there.
