The society we live in today is full of competition. The entire flow of the business world is based on the competitive advantage of one company over another. When you think of a fast food restaurant, for example, a couple of choices often come to mind. One day you'll be able to say you're McDonald's because their dollar menu is right for your budget. Then, one day you see a Burger King ad that says there's a special they're running and now you can afford to go there and eat. What made Burger King truly special? Well, in order for a company that offers the same or similar services to another company to survive, it must compete in terms of doing whatever is necessary to attract more customers. In the world of transportation, we often see so many new cars being born that it would be almost impossible to say that we don't notice the competition among sellers. Keeping the competition in mind, there is something that a company must always consider in terms of benefit to the company, and that is the quality of what it has to offer and sell. Managing the total quality of a product is one thing that will be the determining factor of how well a product will sell and how much revenue it will bring a company because it is the responsibility of everyone involved in a company to help it thrive. Before we all need to know what Total Quality Management is. Total quality management is, and has been defined, as a type of approach used to improve quality and performance so as to exceed all customer expectations (Murray, 2011). Total quality management tends... to the middle of the paper... it is an approach that all companies should have implemented internally because it involves every employee to help the company succeed. We all know that teamwork is what makes everything possible, so the total quality management process is a direct representation of teamwork to ultimately lead to success.Reference1.
