1.2 Current situation With the growing number of research aimed at different purposes, including industrial and health purposes, animal testing is also on the rise. Many non-governmental organizations are against animal testing and this has caused a very significant impact on society's opinion towards animal testing. This has led to different people having different personal opinions on animal testing. Recent studies show that approximately 20 million animals are killed because they are used in animal testing (Andre & Velasquez, n.d.). While some are against animal testing, some companies, particularly those that make drugs for medical supplies, continue to use animals to test their products. Another complication is also the problem of counting the animals tested. Approximately 90% of animals that are tested are not even counted in US statistics alone without taking into account other countries(11 Facts about Animal Testing, n.d.).1.3 Research QuestionTake all opinions of supporters and opponents into consideration tests on animals, different points of view have arisen to defend their interests. Investigating all points of view of the general public, scientists and non-governmental organizations, the main question that should be pursued and answered is: "Does animal testing cause negative effects on society?".1.4 Thesis StatementAl end of the analysis, it can be concluded that there are negative effects of animal testing on society. The negative effects of animal testing on the environment include the incompatibility of the human body with animals, the high costs involved in carrying out animal testing and the issue of safety must also be considered. 1.5 Scope of Research Therefore, this report will focus on what are the negative impacts of animal testing on society, based on the above thesis. This research will further investigate what are the negative impacts of animal testing on society with examples and will consider all arguments supporting animal testing to have a better understanding of this issue as a whole.2.0 Body of contents2.1 Incompatibility of being human body to animals First of all, one of the conflicts raised against animal testing concerns the incompatibility of the human body with animals.
