Classrooms need access to the InternetTimes are changing. Just ten years ago the average family couldn't afford a personal computer for the home. Over the last decade, prices have fallen, increasing the availability of computers. Computers have made their way into almost every business and school. Functioning without them seems quite difficult for most people. Schools are particularly interested in investing in the technology of tomorrow. Computer courses have been created along with typing courses to help students in every way possible to prepare them for the world of tomorrow. Not knowing how to use a computer will be like not knowing how to drive a car. There are ways to get around the absence of a computer, but most of society depends on them. Using a computer makes many tasks easier and faster to do. One advantage that all children should have in the writing classroom is access to the World Wide Web, also known as the "Web" or WWW. Technology is changing and so should classrooms. The World Wide Web is an important tool. It offers a wealth of valuable information to children of all ages around the world. According to Pedroni Guillermo, who holds a Master of Science in Education from Southern Illinois University, “we need to encourage students to become familiar with the different tools and resources that would allow them to compete in the 21st century. Suturing students need to know how to use the Internet efficiently as a means of communication, research and business. US President Bill Clinton said during an Endorsement of Technology, "technology is reshaping our world at an exceptional speed" (WHPR 1995). children… under the Century Classrooms Act, children across America will receive a better education The possibilities are as endless as the World Wide Web will improve their education beyond the walls of the classroom America's youth to catch up.
