The very time-consuming job of being a plastic surgeon would be attractive because they can earn up to $900,000 a year and have the ability to solve all kinds of problems that people have. They treat the bones of the face and skull, repair cleft palates, reattach severed appendages such as fingers, toes, arms and legs, surgeons also treat congenital problems (Greenwood). Plastic surgeons repair, reconstruct, or replace physical defects of form or function involving the skin, musculoskeletal system, craniofacial and maxillofacial structures, hands, extremities, and trunk (plastic surgery). Some surgeons specialize in areas such as orthopedic (musculoskeletal system), neurological (brain and nervous system) surgery, cardiovascular surgery, and plastic or reconstructive surgery (statistics). The job of an anesthesiologist is to take care of the patient's pain relief and surgical patient care (statistics).
