Such preparation should include: the acquisition of basic skills in mathematics and English (study from other resources if necessary) and the goal of passing the placement test so that the remedial lessons are no longer an obligation. So, enroll in a study skills course such as note taking and time management during the first semester so that it helps facilitate the learning experience and builds a foundation in the learning method (Raley 18). Following the course of study is exceptionally crucial because it keeps our head high towards our goal and motivates us not to go off track. Additionally, academic talent alone may not be enough to push some students to succeed in college.
