Mobile technology has completely changed society in the last 5 years. From changing the standard of a technology, a “laptop”, to a new form called “tablet”. Therefore, these new forms, smartphones, have allowed people in society to access more information about themselves and the world around them faster than ever before. Not only have applications been introduced into the education system, making teachings such as handwriting a thing of the past. This is why applications like Facebook connect millions of people every day through the basic premise of online interaction. Even though Facebook may seem a bit "cool" for the middle-aged society, the "young people" seem to think that Twitter is far superior as a trend. Now, in an age where technology is everywhere around us, unknown tracking of our mobile devices has made hacking a person's worst nightmare. Through these recent changes in society, tablets have almost destroyed the laptop industry. The reason is that people in society prefer to use a mobile device to access the same information that can be accessed from a laptop. This is especially true for tablets because “mobile devices enable new economies, opportunities and functions that we couldn't imagine just a few years ago. Ignore this trend and you'll surely think there's no way tablets could ever outsell PCs, let alone do so within the next couple of years. However, if we look at the next generation embracing tablets, we will begin to see that the idea is not so far-fetched” (Tofel).
