Pro-lifers want an amendment to the United States Constitution and the Canadian Bill of Rights, giving equal protection under the law to all living human beings from of their biological birth, life begins from conception until natural death. Understanding that that goal still remains in the future, pro-life people have an intermediate goal. This is a constitutional amendment that returns the right to make decisions about abortion to every single state in the United States and the equivalent in Canada to every single province.
