According to the Department of Homeland Security there are eight to twelve million illegal immigrants in the United States. After the terrorist attacks and with more recent events of Muslim attacks in the United States, including attacks around the world, Americans are trying to separate the Muslim community from being part of the United States population. As Franklin Graham stated in one of his speeches "we are under attack from Muslims at home and abroad" and advised that America "should stop all immigration of Muslims." Another immigrant group that Americans want to separate from are immigrants from Mexico. There has been a lot of discussion about immigrants crossing the border illegally and looking for work. There are much more than these two groups that America wants to separate from its own country and beyond
