Most storage items such as bookcases, filing cabinets, cabinets, and misc. cabinets were placed along the outer perimeter of the room to maximize viewing, accessibility and space. The spacious layout allows students, teacher and other staff to move safely around the room. The teacher's desk is positioned to the side of the classroom, both near the desks and the carpeted reading/meeting area. This position allows the teacher to watch what is happening at the desks and in the back corner without blocking the view of the chalkboards. The kidney table is positioned in the back left corner, which also allows the desks and carpeted area to be viewed, just from a different perspective. Placing next to lockers makes it easier for the teacher to access extra practice worksheets for little ones
