We all have busy lives where unfortunately we can't focus all our dedication on one thing. We are forced to focus on everything happening in our lives at the same time. Concentrating our efforts and energy on different things at the same time implies not giving all our dedication to every single topic. When we go to work, exercise and spend some time with our families, can we really focus fully on each of these aspects? I believe it is impossible because while we are doing one thing our mind is interrupted by the other things we need to focus on. Therefore, not all of us are able to truly focus all our attention on everything we need to take care of in our lives. screw. I think this is a great example of how all commissioners work. There are so many problems in all of our cities that city commissioners cannot address and focus on all of them. For my assignment I watched the video of the city commission meeting that took place in McAllen TX on 11/25/13. They began the meeting by taking the oath of allegiance, which is very common at an important event. They also gave a speech thanking the Lord for all the great things that we all have and also congratulated one of the commissioners on his birthday. Throughout the entire meeting I felt there was a lot of sense of humor which I find positive but at the same time takes up a lot of time that could be used on important city issues. This is where I believe the Council has not fully responded to citizens' concerns, especially by rushing every single issue.
