In some states of Connecticut there was a ruling stating that all inmates remaining on death row will not be put to death in other states the inmates who were given this sentence therefore the death penalty has been abolished he will still be put to death. In states where the death penalty does not exist they will have to serve a life sentence. Which brings me to the second topic of this article. Life sentence. Life imprisonment is a punishment equivalent to life imprisonment. With life imprisonment there are many pros and cons, only life imprisonment is the death penalty. This can be compared to a death sentence as well as a punishment. The first advantage of a life sentence would be that this would ensure that there are no more prisoners. In California alone, more than 200 innocent men and women have been freed, three of whom were on death row. All 200 of these people were innocent. The life sentence does not put innocent lives at risk, unlike the death penalty; we can take someone out of a life sentence, but we can't bring someone back to life. In this sense, life imprisonment is a better option than death
