First, I will write about slavery and the influence of two men that reached its end in this nation and explain how Lincoln and Douglass helped end to slavery in the United States.• Secondly, I will describe the lives of the two protagonists, who contributed to changing the lifestyles of slaves in a better way, despite the difficulties of Abraham Lincoln and Frederick Douglass. Both men were born into a very poor family, lived in the same period and lost their mothers at an early age. The similarity between these two characters is that they are self-taught, intelligent, and spent their young adulthood on the farm. Abraham Lincoln and Frederick Douglass were people who suffered and were moved from borderlands to free states. Both men used words to persuade others and helped end slavery in America.
