“Learning and innovation go hand in hand. The arrogance of success is thinking that what you did yesterday will be enough for tomorrow” (Pollard). William Pollard was right, even in 1800. At that time, no one could imagine the breadth of the development of technology. However, we now see that technology, especially electronics, has become very prevalent in the school environment. We have become so dependent on our smartphones, computers and tablets; it's hard to remember life without them. Especially today, technology continues to integrate into our lives so easily that we devour the latest technological model within days of its release. With such a large dependence on technology, students need proper training on the correct use, benefits and consequences of plagiarism. And the even more appropriate question is: when will we start implementing technology in the classroom? Given the vastness of information, the Internet is the most used source by the current generation of students. We start using some of the basic programs very early. As technology has progressed, we have moved from basic typing games to early childhood education programs like ABC mouse, an online learning program that children can start using from the age of one through early elementary school (Leer ). Children who have used this program are more likely to have a better understanding of the uses of technology in general. The association between technology and learning at such a young age will leave a lasting impression on this group that will greatly enhance their ability to use electronics for educational purposes.
