Starting from the story of Lucretia, the information gathered on how women of that time lived is essentially summarized in the fact that women were responsible for their duties around the home society and be guardian of children. Cornelia's life was not drastically different in that she cared for her children and took responsibility for the domestic tasks entrusted to the women of Rome. The guidance she provided to her two children is what sets her apart from Lucrezia; Cornelia demonstrated that even if women have little or no direct political involvement, there are still ways in which women can influence political decisions. Fulvia and her political career differ most from the other two influential women of the Roman Republic. She pushed the boundaries of women's rights further than Lucrezia or Cornelia ever had. She was practically responsible for her husband's political affairs, thus opening the door to politics for other women
