The evolution of technology has changed society in both positive and negative ways. People around the world use and benefit from modern technology. Technology has simplified access to many tools that people need in education, medicine, communication, transportation, etc. However, using it too often also has disadvantages. In most cases, project completion time is reduced by more than half with the help of technology. Many people do not realize that technology also has its negative effects on society and that its rapid advancements have changed lives for the worse in many different ways. Technology has changed family relationships. Distracted by laptops, TV, smartphones and video games, families are no longer able to have as friendly an attitude towards others as in the past. Before the creation of these devices, families sat together around the table and played games together. But since the creation of video games, home entertainment has shifted to games played alone, and the impact of these games on families is very evident. Today, instead of watching TV together or having dinner together around a table and talking about each other's day, everyone is in a different room, playing video games, watching TV, texting or listening to music. But sometimes technology helps parents communicate better with their children and know where they are, what they are doing and whether they are okay. People are so intrigued by their smartphones and laptops that they are blind to what they used to call “friends” who are now all so distant, that human interaction is very difficult. All these types of pollution caused by the increase in technology can lead to global environmental problems. People can see the many positive effects of technology from different aspects of human life such as education, agriculture, personal safety and the environment. But not everyone considers the negatives while playing Call of Duty and checking what their friends are doing on Facebook. Although technology simplifies people's tasks and duties and makes things much easier, it can weaken health, kill environments, and ruin the interactive social and human life that once was.
