International Public Health Employees are an integral part of the healthcare system around the world. These workers play an important role in helping systems become more culturally appropriate and relevant to the idea of ​​health issues facing not only U.S. states, but around the world. The primary goal of public health workers is to identify the particular health care needs of individuals in a target community or area. There are many notable people in the field of public health, yet very few members are publicly known. There aren't many women in the health field who are public. I decided to profile an internationally known important person in the field, Margaret Chan. Chan has been the current director general of the World Health Organization (WHO) for the past seven years. Since then, his second term at the WHO has made Chan the most powerful person in global public health and the only person with the authority to declare a global pandemic. WHO is a specialized agency of the United Nations that deals with international public health. Margaret Chan was involved in the health field for many years before becoming director general of the WHO. Before starting her health transition, Chan was a qualified home economics teacher in Hong Kong, where she was originally born. After teaching, Chan earned a bachelor's degree in public health and a doctorate of medicine from the University of Western Ontario. He later earned a master of science in public health from the National University of Singapore.
