What is death? Looking up the meaning in the dictionary you would probably read “the loss of life” or “the cessation of all vital functions”. As humans, the word could mean one of many things depending on what you believe. For most of humanity throughout history it has meant the end of a life, for others a shortcut to avoid the inevitable, or even what could be the beginning of something. new.Unfortunately, today, in our modern age, our conception of death has changed dramatically throughout history. Many like you and me will never truly understand the true meaning of death unless they experience it first hand. “The theme of death is shrouded in mystery, folklore and the different meanings of every culture on this planet.” Although death should not be something to fear, because it is a natural part of life. However it should not be taken lightly; it could happen to any of us at any time, but it shouldn't stop you from living your life to the fullest and making the most of every last second. “Throughout history, specific cultural contexts have always played a crucial role in how people perceived death. . Different societies have widely divergent views on the “breath of life” and “how the soul leaves the body” at death.” In the past, death was accepted and believed to be caused by some sort of divine intervention. . In ancient Egypt, Egyptians believed that preparing for death would allow them to enter the afterlife. It was popular among the people that the Pharos of Egypt would also undergo a mummification process and be buried with their belongings to secure their place in the afterlife. Many other cultures performed similar or other rituals to maintain the belief that death was not the end.
