Team Dynamics is a group of two or more people who work together towards a common goal. One definition of team is: two or more individuals associated in joint action. (Webster's New Collegiate Dictionary (1976). In business and education, these joint actions should have a mission or goal that achieves results like a research paper. My C team came together with a common goal: to write a successful paper for a 5 week on “What safeguards currently exist to ensure academic honesty and are they working?” In order for this to be possible, we must learn to work as a team. By completing the Team C Charter we have learned the dynamics of how we , as a team, , we will work together to complete our goal of producing a well-written document on time with equal participation of each member. Each team member has different strengths and weaknesses in our intelligence -mathematical, interpersonal, musical and. All these levels of intelligence should make a great article. In our group we also have different personality types such as the Thinker, the Organizer, the Adventurer and the follower. We also addressed potential barriers we may face, such as scheduling. conflicts due to personal or work-related problems and technological limitations, as each person may be at a different level in this area. Also, the time zone factor which is the biggest and you have to prioritize for the benefit of the team and the expertise of each member's contributions. (1995) The first step is communication which is probably the most important factor in team dynamics. So we decided to establish ground rules for the team such as daily or nightly check-in to the Team C forum, complete tasks as pre-arranged and discussed, as well as do our best to participate in scheduled team forum chat room sessions We have decided to set up Yahoo instant messaging for some communications, mainly because of the time zone problem we have exchanged personal information such as phone numbers and private emails. Additionally, Dan, our team leader can and should be notified in the event of an emergency. Planning and planting are the next steps in production of a team project. We also assessed our individual strengths and areas for improvement. This will help the team when it comes to planning our goals and objectives.
